Some rather nice coverage of JU-ON: The Grudge in next month's issue of NEO, issue 064, including an interview with Takashi Shimizu, director of the original movie and consultant to the developer's of the game, Feelplus.

SoraBaudelaire says: I wanted to ask.. Why such awful cover art? i mean, this cover is a bit ridiculous.. why not Kayako or Toshio? instead that unknown girl..

torisu (RSG) says: Hi, thanks for your interest in JU-ON: The Grudge. We're trying to attract as wide an audience as possible. We believe this box art will do that despite a number of people having expressed their disappointment with it.

SoraBaudelaire says: I understand.. but I think that, like me, a lot of people would like to be the game with a nice boxart instead of that.. I will buy it no matter what kind of boxart it has, but i think, at least the biggest fans would deserve a better boxart n__nU Besides, thanks to release this game in Europe!! I hope it will be release in Spanih too =]

torisu (RSG) says: We never like to disappoint people, and we do understand why some people are disappointed with the art. But we can't print two different covers nor can we print reversible cover art, so we were faced with a problem: 1. print art that some people would prefer; 2. print art that will (hopefully) result in more sales. The game has been localised to English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Dutch. Thank you for your support, by the way, and your comments - we always take on board suggestions and criticism.
