How to Play

There are five types of battles in Battle Mode, but the basics are the same for all of them: place bombs and try to defeat your opponents with your bomb blasts. Each of the five battle types has unique conditions for victory. Each stage has a fixed battle type.

Normal Battle Defeat your opponents with your bomb blasts. The last player standing at the end of the battle wins.

Blocks Battle Your bomb blasts change part of the floor to your colour. The player with most of the floor in his or her colour at the end of the battle wins.

Stars Battle The player who has gathered the most star blocks by the end of the battle wins.

Escape Battle The first player to find the hidden key and get through the hidden door wins.

Crown Battle The first player to reach the crown wins.
