Rules & Handicaps
| Skull |
Decide whether Skull items will appear or not. |
| Battle Method |
Select between “Trophies,” competing for a certain number of wins,
or “Score,” competing for the highest total point value. |
| Sets |
For “Trophies,” this is the number of wins needed for victory.
For “Score,” this is the number of rounds to be played. |
| Time |
The time limit for a round. Can be set to from 1 to 9 minutes. |
| Start Position |
Select either a “Fixed” starting position or a “Random” one. |
| Pressure Blocks |
When ON, pressure blocks begin to fill up the stage a little while before time
runs out. |
| Revenge |
When ON, defeated characters can make attacks from the sidelines. |
| Power Down Items |
Decide whether Power Down items will appear or not. |
Handicaps
Set the items each
character will have at the start of the battle.
Each character is allowed only one Bomb Kick, one
Penetrating Bomb and one Power Glove.

About Skull
When Skull is ON, Skull
blocks appear. Skull blocks cannot be
destroyed by bomb blasts. When a
character takes a Skull block, he becomes sick. This ailment can be passed on to other characters as well. |
About Revenge
When Revenge is ON, you can
throw in bombs from the sidelines after you are
defeated. If one of your bombs defeats an
opponent, you will be revived back into the battle!
To throw a bomb, take aim by moving the cursor
with the +Control Pad and press the A Button. |
