I suspect the new characters will appear in next update for the website. Any news on if main characters are marriage candidates?

I don't think anything has been said on the matter.
If it has, then it's bound to be mentioned in the Rune Factory 4 thread at fogu.com, but I really don't want to trawl through hundreds of pages just to find one snippet of info.

I'm sure I heard news they would appear in game as NPCs as well. It could have been speculation though.

It depicts a new bachelor. He is apparently called Leon, and looks to be another monster bachelor, to balance out the two monster bachelorettes. And also, I think, looks distinctly like a rajah, which is a look we've never had in Rune Factory before (although interesting one that is in Harvest Moon: Land of Origin).

It shows some of the marriage candidates in their nightwear, which is presumably going to be an addition along similar lines as the swimsuits (although likely not a replacement, but in addition to them).

Interesting that main characters have night clothes but in screenshot of main male character talking he is wearing normal clothes. Hopefully this means main characters are also marriage candidates. Could be wishful thinking though.

I have to say though.. The new character is called Leo yet he looks to be part wolf?

PS: That bachelor from HM 3DS game from what I have seen and read is the same one from Grand Bazaar. Although might be a bit confusing because as there is a butler in that style in HM3DS as well.

That is somewhat odd, yes. His ears and tail certainly seem far more wolf-like.
Although he is named Leon, with an 'n', so perhaps the similarity to leo is simply coincidental.

That's not the guy I'm talking about. You referring to Amir, the rather sour-looking man with the white hair. I am referring to a different Land of Origin bachelor. I try not to get too attached to Japanese names for that reason.

So it was the butler you were on about. I think he is the butler anyway. It will be a lto less confusing once game gets released here.

Happy someone heard my request for having a male marriage candidate that is fox monster. Hopefully this means mini fox monsters like those on boss. Want a huge barn full of them.

Fox monster? Leon's monster form seems more like some sort of malign anubis sarcophagus to me.
It does seem to have foxes resting on its 'shoulders' but I don't think they are actually part of it, per se.

I know what it is and thought about it. You see those foxes are probably meant to be like versions of Anubis. In which case Anubis according to this game is a fox. So he's a fox monster.

I really hope those mini Anubis foxes appear separate and can be tamed.
