Here is a timeline:

Japanese UMD version released
Japanese DL version released
US version (UMD+DL) released, with improved code from Japanese version
Analyse and try to amend Japanese DL version
EU version released
Japanese version patched to US+EU version.

In regard to the quality of the code, the amended Japanese DL version and US/EU version are the same and cannot be improved.

In summary European version is already fully patched, then everything should be alright. But there's still people which have problems with the music even today.

That is an accurate summary I'm afraid.

Not that it helps the people who have experienced the problem, but it seems a very rare problem and it does not seem to occur with the UMD version.

Unfortunately the developers are unable to fix it.

Then someone could experience the psn version of the game with no glitch at all?

The devoloppers knows what's the cause of the glitch? For example it could be correlated to the console version thing (psp 1000 / 2000/ 3000)? (I precise that's a random suggestion).

Yes - lots of people bought the PSN version but I have seen very few complaints about the music (less than 10).

Okay then, I think I will buy the game anyway, glitched or not. Too much time I want to play it, I can't wait any longer.

So I bought the game aaaaaand....

It's glitched.

But it's not that bad, I was expecting something more....terrible. Yes there are "holes" more or less larger when music is played, but I noticed it only concern some music when others are played correctly.

In any case, it's annoying but it's also bearable (in my opinion). And it wont prevent me to finish the game at 100%.

And like jameskyle, I hope the sequel will not get this psn only problem
