According to several sources, Frantic Farming and Sugar Village have been announced for the end of this calendar year for Europe.

Needless to say, I am quite surprised, so I'm not sure whether to believe it or not. After all, Sunshine Islands has been rated so long ago by USK that seeing Sugar Village released before it really is surprising.

Not only that, but why does Rising Star announce these two games before announcing Rune Factory 2 officially, since Rune Factory 2 has an October 1st tentative release date for Europe (which I presume, will be before either Frantic Farming nor Sugar Village will be released.)

At any rate, with both of these games being released plus Rune Factory 2 this year, we can definitively cross out Sunshine Islands and Animal Parade for this calendar year.

Rune Factory 2 was announced in their Autumn line up. No exact date has been given yet.

I heard about Frantic Farming and Hero of Leaf Village being announced.

Rune Factory Frontier came out before Rune Factory 2 here. Elsewhere it was other way around.

USK confirms multi-2 (english, german) for the DS Frantic Farming. Still waiting for their rating for Sugar Village.

I'm posting a new reply instead of just editing my last message so that people will see a new post has been made (since it's been a while since my last post).

Anyway, Sugar Village is out according to Rising Star's website, and it is apparently a UK only release. I was wondering why USK hadn't rated the game and now I know why. The game is apparently only in english and thus why the game is only being released in the UK and on the PSN. I haven't been able to find it in any online store that isn't an english store (or if a store has it, it's the american version). Nowhere on Amazon.de, etc. Of course, I could be mistaken about the UK only release but I'm not Rising Star and can only infer conclusions.

Well, that's certainly one way of getting games out the door quicker in Europe. I feel I've complained enough in my past posts, so I'll refrain from adding anything new. I just want to let people know in case they were wondering.

Yes, Hero of Leaf Valley (aka Sugar Village / Sugar Town) is English only
