Seems there's been a few stories about Muramasa losing its US publisher, XSEED-

is this going to affect the UK release? I should imagine that XSEED would have been putting up a significant chunk of the work/cash for translation...

I don't think it would since they are different companies. Probably would have some effect on the release but it would all depend on who is bringing the game over in US now.
