Deadly Premonition

Deadly Premonition is a suspense-horror action adventure for the XBox 360 and is now available in all good stores and on Xbox LIVE Games on Demand.

Playing as Special Agent Francis York, players must investigate the brutal murder of a young local beauty.  Amidst the backdrop of soaring mountains and a town filled with eccentric natives, York must solve the mystery of the Red Seed Murders and stay alive in a place where supernatural creatures and a folklore killer seek to end his investigation... permanently.

In all honesty i bought this game on a whim, i game the box a once over and decided to take a chance, and i am glad i did, WHAT A GAME, i bought it 27th December and i havent stopped playing it yet, i have completed it over and over and still i keep playing it again, i havent enjoyed a game this much since i played Alan Wake.

Games like Deadly Premonition don't come around that often, a game with a decent storyline and even better game play, ok, there is the odd glitch here and there but it really doesnt spoil the game, the characters are great and sometimes amusing.

I hopefully look forward to more games such as this one and from browsing the site i believe i am looking forward to deathsmiles too.

I picked up Deadly Premonition after reading a few online reviews saying it was pretty good and totally different from the usual crap that gets churned out. So I decided to pick it up at the Bargain price of £15. Ill admit for about the 1st hour i was unsure if i liked it or not but having now finished it i have to admit its one of the best games ive played for years... its compelling, emotional and pretty funny in a few places too. Great characters and fantastic story with unexpected twists and turns that had me wondering 'what the hell is going to happen now'.The gameplay is a mixed bag, a bit like resdient evil 4 and silent hill in places. I think that anyone looking for something different or if you are just plain sick of all the 1st person shooters out there, then go for this game it wont dissapoint.
Just hope it gets a sequel and we see more of Agent Morgan :D
