i like this game but i can't marry-.-

Harvest Moon DS is an okay game but I was really surprised and really dissappointed! The game has a very long storyline which will last you about a few months (even years if your addicted) which is something good about the game!

The reason why I was very dissappointed with the game was because I thought the game be enhanced alot more than it stated. The graphics looked exactly like the Game Boy Advanced version, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. The bottom screen was okay when petting an animal but the map of the game was surprisingly inaccurate.

In my opinion this isn't one of the best Harvest Moon games but at least it isn't the worst. If you're a serious HM fan then you will love this game, but for me there wasn't enough enhancements with the game to make me full y enjoy this game and thus I give the score of 3 stars.

I loved this game but sadly my sister broke it
so I am saving my pocket money for a new one although one thing
dissapoints me and I think we all know this.....

IT TAKES TO LONG TO FIND ALL THE HARVEST SPRITES AND THATS WHAT I HATE!
I realy want to marry muffy and shes is cute!but because can not be botherd to find the harvest sprites I can not!
I dont mind the graphics there fine but could be improved so 4 star for this rising star game not 5

Becuse I have the heart to muffy red and i give her the blue feather but she won't marry me???? WHY?????

hey,i love this game and you do 2, i bet:), well, i learned almost everything from my cus and if want,u can learn them from me ,i hav a lot to tell,im about to buy another game in the series.Tip:if u want 2 marry,put the feather in the tool place!i made that mistake.

i really like this game but im really stuffed cos i have no idea how to get a blue feather and if there are any cheats or anything they would be good to know!
I think the game is really good and i play it every night but like i say i really wanna marry and cant. "/

Okay... so another Harvest Moon game. Now for the DS! Well this seems like it would be a good game right? Well, Harvest Moon DS has the basic core gameplay pretty much similar to all the previous Harvest Moon games particularly Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town (which shares the same graphics and many characters with).

The main problem with this game is that it is way too similar to the previous games in the series. Marvelous Interactive didn't even bother enhancing the graphics; instead reusing the old graphics! Sadly the beginning of the game is pretty boring aswell. You are left with a plain farm and the small village isn't very creative.

With barely any shops to visit, the game is rather dull. Another side-quest is trying to find all the Harvest Sprites in order to revive the Harvest Goddess. The Harvest Sprites are extremely hard to find and in order to marry you must complete this side-quest. The Harvest Sprites are also invisible making the game harder than it should be.

Harvest Moon DS is rather below average and I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone other than die-hard fans. I would recommend either playing Island of Happiness or Sunshine Islands if you really want a DS Harvest Moon game.

The game is pretty good but it is too hard to find all the harvest sprites and the graphic aren't that good. Without finding the harvest sprites you can't marry. I have the 'cute' version of the game which is exactly the same except you play as a girl.

I like this game. Even though it's hard to find ALL the harvest sprites, I've found Harvest Moon websites that help me. One of them is http://www.fogu.com/hm6/chan3/sprites/index.php. Good Luck!
