Colossal crossover as lead characters from SteamWorld Dig, Brut@l, Zombie Vikings and more join the cast of the chaotic platform game
Eight new heroes enter the fray! Plucked from dimensions across the Rising Star universe in a crossover of colossal proportions, they’ve joined forces with the 88 Heroes to foil Dr. H8’s nefarious plans. Use their skills wisely and maybe you’ll be able to save the day!
Meet the new heroes:
The M@ge (from Brut@l)
Dex (from A Pixel Story)
Rusty (from SteamWorld Dig)
Gunborg (from Zombie Vikings)
The Conga Masters (from Conga Master)
Vamp Girl (from I Want To Be Human)
Eyas (from The Land of Eyas)
The Ninja (from Ninja Shodown)
The M@ge – can fire magical blasts out of his cane; tap Action button for small blast, press harder for bigger (big blasts can destroy scenery)
Dex – pressing the Action button drops his teleporting hat; pressing the Action button again teleports Dex to the location where the hat was dropped
Rusty – can use his pickaxe to kill enemies and, more importantly, dig through the scenery in all four directions
Gunborg – very large character, can use massive sword to kill enemies and smash walls; when she gets hit, her body collapses but her head starts bouncing and can still be controlled
The Conga Masters – immune to enemy attacks; touching enemies adds them to your conga line
Vamp Girl – can double jump and use her shotgun to kill enemies
Eyas – press the Action button to reverse gravity and walk on the ceiling
The Ninja – moves quickly, can cling to and climb up/down walls; uses katana blade to attack enemies
88 Heroes: H8 Mode Activate!
Two new heroes – Cath Letics and The Mime – team up with the 88 Heroes to bring the pain to Dr. H8. But wait! The evil mastermind gets his revenge with H8 Mode: eight new levels so challenging, even the toughest hero will be tested!
(H8 Mode Activate! DLC suitable for digital owners only; content pre-bundled in boxed version)
Cath Letics – the more the Action button is pushed, the faster she can run; fast running allows for jumping longer distances
The Mime – can do mime (obviously), which causes enemies to change direction away from him
H8 Mode info:
Eight very difficult standalone levels that can be accessed from the main menu.
