Rising Star Games enters the delightfully weird world of Sinclair Strange on PC in 2015
LOS ANGELES, USA – August 17, 2015 – Grasping the world of weird by the horns, Rising Star Games has announced a new partnership with indie hero Sinclair Strange to publish I Want To Be Human on PC. As funny and off-the-wall as it is loaded with exploding body parts, the side-scrolling platform blaster is set for release this Autumn.
Driving a stake through the heart of every vampire love story ever told, I Want To Be Human isn’t your age-old tale. Boy meets vampire girl, boy falls in love with vampire girl, boy gets turned into weaponized hat by evil forces trying to take over the world… wait, what? There is only one thing a vampire girl can do: go on a bloodthirsty rampage of death and destruction in a quest to get her boyfriend back!
I Want To Be Human is packed with crazy platform blasting action, a pulsing electropunk chiptune score, wildly dark tongue-in-cheek humour and a cartoon body count in the thousands. Players will set out on a journey through hell and back (literally) to save vampire girl’s beau through five worlds of blood-soaked monochromatic mayhem. And who knows, they might even set a new high ‘sgore’ (ahem) into the bargain…
“Sometimes, you meet a developer who you immediately know you want to work with, and Sinclair Strange is definitely that man,” said Martin Defries, managing director of Rising Star Games. “What he’s doing with I Want To Be Human defies logic, but there’s no denying it’s shaping up to be amazing. I can’t wait to see what everyone makes of it…”
More details on I Want To Be Human, including exciting information about its soundtrack, will be revealed in the coming weeks.
